More Information on Labyrinths

The Story of the Labyrinth

There are quite a few cultures who used labyrinths in their mythos and spirituality. It came to signify a journey towards one's destiny and this is symbolized by the story of Theseus and the Minotaur. The Labyrinth was built to hold the beast, who was a punishment from an angry god. Many people were killed by it until the hero of the story slew the monster. The story reflects our own path towards our destiny. The beast takes on many forms such as ignorance, fear, trauma, negative patterns. All things we must overcome to move forward and succeed on our path. When you step upon the path, you are stepping into your own epic journey towards enlightenment.
